	Qualifications:	Current District 50 Employee SC Certificate in Early Childhood Education Certification by the American Montessori Society and/or Early Childhood or Master’s degree with a Montessori emphasis (Candidates currently enrolled in one of these programs may be considered). Minimum three years teaching experience

	Fine Arts Magnet School Fifth Grade Teaching Position (Core Academic Area) 2008-2009 School Year
	To qualify for this position, the individual should possess Gifted/Talented endorsement and South Carolina certification in Elementary Education.  The candidate should also meet the NCLB definition of Highly Qualified. Individuals in the process of completing the Gifted/Talented endorsement are invited to apply.  The position requires a commitment to plan and assist in after-school activities. Applications must include a letter of interest with a detailed resume and a minimum of three professional references.  Current District 50 employees need only to provide a letter of interest.  Review of applications will begin in January 2008 and continue until the position is filled.
