	HIGH SCHOOL BAND DIRECTOR 2008-2009 School Year Proper South Carolina teacher certification is required for this position. The successful candidate must provide leadership and build a structure of relationships that support a 4-AAAA band program. Experience as a band director is preferred. Effective communication skills are essential. The individual selected must be able to collaborate with support groups and work with the community to support the mission of Greenwood School District 50. 	HIGH SCHOOL ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL 2008-2009 School Year The assistant principal position offers a 215-day contract with salary based on the district salary schedule. Qualifications include proper SC administrative certification. The individual must provide leadership and build a structure of relationships that support teaching and learning. Effective communication and knowledge and use of technology applications are essential. Monitoring of student discipline, support of the instructional program, and developing and implementing successful professional development programs are essential duties as well as any other alternatives the Board of Trustees may require.
