POSITION:	Special Services Compliance Coordinator
QUALIFICATIONS:	Master’s Degree in Special Education, Psychological Services and/or Administration. A valid South Carolina certificate in one of the following areas: Elementary or Secondary Principal, Elementary or Secondary Supervisor, School Psychologist III, or School Psychologist II. At least five years successful experience in public school work, either as a special education teacher or in psychological services, and/or administration. Persons considered for this position should be experienced in, or have knowledge of, the various categories of disability, procedures for identifying these disabilities and program alternatives for students with special needs. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
WORK SCHEDULE:	200 day work schedule
SALARY RANGE:	District teacher salary schedule
OTHER INFORMATION:	Assists in coordinating the implementation of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act by developing policies and procedures under the direction of the Director of Special Services. Monitors activities to ensure that the various components of IDEA are being implemented. Supervises the procedural aspects for placing children into, and dismissing children out of special education along with various other special services related activities.

POSITION:	Literacy Coach Grades K-5
QUALIFICATIONS:	South Carolina Teaching Certificate, Bachelor’s Degree in the area of Early Childhood, Reading, Elementary Education, or Special Education and such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
PREFERENCES:	Masters Degree Minimum of three years teaching experience in grades K-5
WORK SCHEDULE:	190 work schedule (Additional days may be required for training)
SALARY RANGE	District teacher salary schedule
OTHER INFORMATION:	The teacher will be working with classroom teachers providing literacy support. The teacher will lead professional development sessions. The teacher will work with students to provide supplementary instruction and assist with assessment of students’ needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:		Valid SC certification in School Psychology
		Other alternative qualifications as Board of Trustees may require
EMPLOYMENT:		205 days/7.5 hours per day
SALARY		$3,000 signing bonus for a 5-year commitment. Salary is based on the District Salary Schedule + Supplement.
