Cables The new teacher laptops do not have a parallel printer
port. This is by design because all
new printers come with USB ports. Some
classrooms have older printers that still use the old style parallel cable (a
nine-pin connector on the end that connects to the computer and a large
connector for the printer). In order to connect the older printers to the new laptops,
you will need a USB-to-parallel printer cable – to connect your older printer
