Summer Workshops

6/1/07 Have you enrolled in a summer technology workshop yet?  The workshops range from one to four days in length and are structured to help teachers meet the State’s new technology proficiency standards.  To enroll, contact Cindy Hughes at: 864-941-3408 or hughesc@gwd50.org, at least two weeks before the workshop is scheduled to begin.   Classes will meet in room 210 at Brewer Middle School unless you are notified otherwise.  The workshops are listed below.  Hope to see you there!

Important Teacher Notes

So, what are you going to do this summer?  There are many excellent workshops being offered at no cost to district personnel through District 50 and there are vacations, family time, books, movies, summer cleaning, and hopefully some “down time” for weary educators.  When you are enjoying some “me” time, why not become more comfortable with using the internet and experience some interesting and amusing “grown-up” sites?  You might even find some things to use with your students this fall!  Below are a few suggestions:
