Technology Proficiency Certification

3/1/08 This past fall, teachers, whose teacher certification or technology proficiency certification expires in Spring 2008, were asked to attend a meeting on the new state technology certification requirements.  This is a reminder: even if your self-assessment determined you to be a Level 3 or 4, you still need to complete a portfolio documenting your technology proficiency.  If you recently received an email stating certain requirements had been approved, but your portfolio has not been approved, you will not be recertified.  Help with ePortfolios is available at GEC in the afternoons.  See the opposite column or the staff development calendar for dates and times.  These sessions are not structured classes – structured classes have been held and additional training classes can be arranged if needed.  If you have questions or are interested in a class, please contact Cindy Hughes at: hughesc@gwd50.org.
