Evaluation

 

All induction contract teachers will participate in an informal induction evaluation process in accordance with state law and SC Board of Education regulations.  All annual contract teachers will participate in the South Carolina SAFE-T formal evaluation during their second year of employment and will complete a professional growth plan.  Continuing contract teachers will participate in a formative goals-based evaluation process or a summative evaluation process (SAFE-T).  The building principal will decide on the appropriate evaluation process for continuing contract teachers based on each teacher's past performance.
